Its separate lux sensor records ambient light and keeps up to 6 months of illumination history, making it ideal for night lighting that only turns on when the room is actually dark. Powered by a CR2477 battery with up to about 3 years of life, it is a low-maintenance guard for hallways, stairs, bathrooms, and entrances.
