It works as a gateway adapter for Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT, OpenThread Border Router (OTBR), and other open-source platforms, giving you local control of Zigbee devices and Matter-over-Thread devices without relying on the cloud. 📡🏠✨
With RF transmit power up to 20 dBm and a 3 dBi antenna, it delivers stronger, more stable coverage, with up to 200 meters in free line of sight (ideal conditions). The SONOFF Dongle Flashing Tool lets you flash Zigbee router or OpenThread RCP firmware, so the same dongle can take on different roles in your setup.

This is a USB coordinator for software platforms and is not a standalone hub. A computer, mini PC, or server running a compatible platform (Windows, Ubuntu, Raspberry Pi OS, or Docker) is required.
